NSM-DALIA
NSM-DALIA is an attempt to develop NLP tools for Natural Semantic Metalanguage.
I am updating all the tools at present, so this page will (mirtshe) change quickly.
The following tools are available:
- nsm-dalia-js is an automatic translator written in JavaScript, which
can run directly in your web-browser (you can also save it and use it offline).
Previous version has been superseded by version 2.0.
New version is much faster and the parsing and generation algorithms are more
robust and tailored to NSM. It is still being developed and updated versions
will follow each other.
- nsm-dalia-pl, a parser and generator for NSM. I am updating these tools;
here you can find the latest version (0.9) with some documentation,
and the older NSM-DALIA-0.8. You will need to install
SWI-PROLOG to run the programs
- A new, experimental parser-generator for English NSM writen in Python and
based on Stabler's Computational Minimalist Grammars. It is still under development.
You will find the source code here. The draft of an
article about NSM and Minimalism is here.
The particular minimalist model adopted, and the semantic transcription used,
are explained here.
